Refund and Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains the rules for refunds and cancellations of lessons and courses provided by Speak English Like a Native.

1. Student Cancellation of Individual Lessons

• 24-Hour Notice: If you cancel an individual lesson at least 24 hours before its scheduled start time, you may reschedule the lesson at no additional charge or receive a full refund for that specific lesson.

• Less than 24-Hour Notice: If you cancel an individual lesson less than 24 hours before its scheduled start time, the lesson will be considered conducted, and no refund or rescheduling will be provided.

2. School Cancellation of Lessons

• In the unlikely event that Speak English Like a Native cancels a lesson (e.g., due to teacher illness or technical issues), we will notify you as soon as possible. In such cases, you will receive a full refund for the canceled lesson or have the option to reschedule it at a time convenient for you.

3. Refunds for Lesson Packages (10 or 20 hours)

• Before Package Use Begins: You may request a full refund for a purchased lesson package (10 or 20 hours) before you have used any lessons from that package. The request must be made within 14 days of purchase.

• After Package Use Begins: If you have started using lessons from a package, the refund will be calculated as follows:

  • The cost of the lessons already conducted will be charged at the standard single-lesson rate (€30 per hour), not the discounted package rate.

  • The remaining amount will be refunded.

  • Example: You purchased a 10-hour package for €250 and used 3 hours. Refund calculation: 3 hours * €30/hour = €90. Refundable amount: €250 - €90 = €160.

4. Requesting a Refund

All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to: spengliken@gmail.com. Please include your name, date of purchase, course/package name, and reason for the request.

5. Refund Processing

• Refunds will be processed within 14 business days from the date the request is approved.

• Funds will be returned using the same payment method used for the original transaction (e.g., to the same credit card or via Revolut Pro).

6. Changes to This Refund and Cancellation Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
